welcome  to  the  temple

WHat is a temple?

A temple is a space where people come together to explore intimacy, connection, sensuality, with self and with other.

Temples are spaces where community is built- it is a space to be vulnerable, to be welcomed without any masks, and to show up authentically.

It is a space Where all emotions and aspects of self are welcome. They are spaces where you can explore and develop your connection with your body and your sxuality in a conscious, loving way.

A Temple is a space where nothing needs to happen. To let go of expectation about how things should go and what to expect from yourself and the evening.

Temples are sober spaces

Temples are co-created spaces that are grounded in consent and respect. Any breaches of these principles will not be tolerated.

what a temple isn’t?

  • A place to be performative

  • A place to follow strict gender roles

  • A place where you feel obliged to feel sexy, happy and have the desire to interact all the time.

  • A place where you have to interact with someone if you don't feel it. The most important thing is to listen to yourself and act in coherence with your own personal truth of the moment. This means you can step out of any exercise at any point.

What is the structure of a temple?

INTRODUCTION OF A TEMPLE, WELCOME CIRCLE

The NEXT PART IS dedicated to creating a safe(r) space- we will go through agreements and explore some consent exercises.

the next part will dedicated to guided practises related to connection, sensuality, and intimacy.

For this specific temple we will be exploring different polarites- yin-yang, active - passive, light - dark, giving and receiving- a continuation from the afternoon shibari workshop.

We will take a break to share food, eat and change clothes (if you wish)

CENTRAL PRACTICE

Free flow-

tHIS is where the guided practiceS end and the time when you will have opportunity to PUT INTO PPRACTICE WHAT YOU HAVE LEARNT, connect with yourself, others, co-create mini workshops, sing, dance, cuddle, massage, meditate, connect with others through eros, laugh, share sensuality- all of this can happen, and none of it has to happen…

This is the beauty of the Temple: the power of listening and surrendering to the mystery, letting flow what wants to emerge from this particular group of people.

Luis pinto Benavides (he / him)

Originally from venezuela and based in Barcelona, Luis has been inspired by the main schools of Shibari/Kinbaku that exist today. Beyond the complicated knots and patterns that many people associate with Shibari, Luis' goal is to bring the ropes closer to people so that they can focus on establishing intimacy, connection and enter into the realm of Sacred Play.

He draws on his experience with Tantra as a tradition that teaches us to embrace and be present with our Life Force in all its manifestations and different polarities in which it can appear, as well as studying other traditions of Sacred Sexuality and Esoterica such as the Trans-Himalayan Teachings and body practices.

He brings several years of experience as a martial artist in grappling and jiujitsu. For him, body practices translate directly into how we move, feel and are present in life.
